Love Does Things

I see them often
See them Happy and smiling
There’s a twinkle in her eye
Their life doesn’t seem so dry

Both seem too engrossed
So much into each other

Where you don’t see beyond one another

They hold their hands tightly
And make a lovey-dovey picture

Where everything seems to get new

May be they make promises
For a happy and a long-lasting future

Does love does this to you?
Where everything around doesn’t exist?
Where one can’t really distinguish anything?

Mera Valentine Funda

Dekh ho bhai Aisa hain ...It's like this.....Valentine day is hyped a lot. It actually means the celebration of love.Celebrating with those whom you love.Now it's sad that the whole thing is hyped only with "couples" celebrating.Here's a question? Did you wish your parents Happy Valentine's day today ?? Now if u believe in valentine's and you haven't done that BE ASHAMED LOOSERS. I'll go a step further.....Did u wish your friends today?? Well I did not :P ...but then hey it's not wrong in doing that.We all love them ...don't we ??

A Conversation with my friend on wednesday I guess it was.

"So what are you doing on Saturday, my friend asked ?"

I firstly could not tell why was she asking and then it came to mind ohh it would be Valentine's that day.

" Ohh Well I don't know. Would be celebrating it with my friends and family I guess"

She didn't say anything. Was she expecting something :D ??

I can't say.

Anyways, Happy Valentine's day people..... Love and spread love :)

Yes We Can :)

This was my Entry to the THE INSPIRATION POETRY CONTEST which was being held in my group blog i.e TheWriter'sLounge

This was what I had come up with ....

I was down that day
But not out, not yet
Many had a lot to say
But I got back, you bet!

It was all because of somebody though
Someone whom I saw campaigning
Addressing to the thousands gathered
Firmly said he,” Yes We can!”

The assurance in his voice
Rang like a gong in my ear
People could now make a good choice
My path suddenly felt so near.

He had a strong Belief
That he could bring about change
People had a strong belief too
In his ability, persona and range.

He is now the president
Must have dreamt that as a child
It had become a reality now
People around the world smiled.

If he can, then why can’t we?
Self Confidence is all that we need
We must do something before we die
So let’s start sowing that seed.

The Confusion of being "Single"

The other day,seeing my fellow Friend having his arm around his girl friend made me go..,”Should I have one”? And then I thought about its consequences

1. I will have to approach the girl ->Easy
2. I will have to propose to her ->not that easy
3. Make her my official girlfriend ->Easy, after proposing her
4. Talk to her everyday at least 30mins to 1Hour err.. may be more -> ummm......Difficult
5. Ask for 100-200 Rupees more as pocket money everyday -> umm.....Impossible: P

Now may be it won’t be that bad, but these are just some pointers which tells me ----No,Anurag ,This won’t be a Good Idea This surely would be the First Mistake you would make in your so far “"Mistakeless" Life...”

But then when you see the girl set her hair properly in the adjacent seat of the bus you’are travelling in or when you go inside any mall and see a snazzy looking couple enjoying a mc’aloo/chicken Tikki inside McDonalds or when you see a couple going at 100km/hr with the girl holding on kaske to her partner riding the bike,you tend to do…Sigh! Surely,a partner would be nice …But again another question pops up…Will this Detach you from your friends…Will Friendship Suffer?? I guess that depends from Individual to Individual but I think it does if not much but if I am not wrong some strings do come out…..

Ohh well For me Being Single Rocks simply because of the reason I gave in the first Para i.e. the consequences.....Those last 3 pointers scares me honestly.....But probably Things won't be that bad...Guess should give it a try.... what say??.... *Scratches his head *
